About us

We are PLAYAR, an AR agency rooted in pop and game culture and creating immersive and entertaining augmented reality experiences for brands and agencies on Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok & web (WebAR). Our office is located in Antwerp (Europe) but we serve clients across the globe. Since our inception in 2020, we have developed over 200 experiences for the likes of Disney, Samsung, Gucci, Oreo, DIOR, Coca Cola and many more

We are currently looking for a full time SENIOR DESIGNER / ART DIRECTOR

What you will do

  • Spend your days concepting & designing / storyboarding immersive & interactive experiences for brands on Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and the web (webAR)
  • Be a true design chameleon able to adapt to any style of brief or client, whether this be a fun and colorful AR game for an FMCG brand or a high-end immersive experience for a global luxury brand
  • Take responsibility for delivering best-of-class creative output by preparing design assets like interface elements, 2D assets, etc for our development team and following up the correct integration of these assets
  • Be a guardian and advocate of great design & the application of (UI & UX) design principles throughout our experiences
  • Keep a close eye on developments in the world of AR / VR / 3D / Design / NFT’s / Metaverse & Web3 and are passionate to share your findings with our team
  • Build creative pitch decks & presentations which convince clients of your concepts and designs, and the power of Immersive experiences & AR to engage consumers
  • Work in a small team of really nice and talented 2D/3D artists, animators, developers & producers

What we expect

  • You have 4+ years of experience concepting & designing visual campaigns and/or digital experiences for brands in a variety of styles
  • You have an eye and passion for great design and are familiar with UI / UX design principles
  • You know how to engage consumers in fun, new and never-before-seen ways
  • You preferably have experience with AR, 3D or Immersive experiences but this is not a must if you are a fast learner
  • You are passionate in everything you do and you are a great communicator & team player
  • You are fascinated by new technologies like AR / VR, interactive gaming, real-time 3D and all things Web3
  • You are not afraid of working in a high pace environment with a new challenge every day
